After retrieving Lincoln, Erik meets him in the Helicopter.
"What happened down there?" Erik begins
"Terrorist nearly killed me..." Responds Lincoln

The Commissar messages Jem, "We will us our ospreys to invade the inner portion of the fort if you attempt to distract the troops and destroy large air defenses. Ill use my airplanes to bomb out strong point in the city." The Quarkian forces move to the outskirts of Oren. They await the destruction of the major AA guns so the airforce can bomb the city.

A beautiful forest stands undisturbed by the touch of man. The shine of buildings in the distance showing Oren's beauty. A price of undergrowth begins to slide. A pair of range finders appearing from under the plants. "Section Charlie, 4- 12- 9 five-hundred sixty meters. Fire for effect"

A few moments later the ground begins to shake as mortor rounds bombard the area signaled. Dust and debris kicked up as do collateral damage to the surrounding buildings. A fire ball erupts into the air lighting up the unshattered glass around it and igniting small fires around it. The explosions halt and the dust begins to settle. The range finders appear again. They scan the area skipping over the crater that used to be an AA battery. "Grid Delta, 23-12-15, HE rounds, fire for effect."
The undergrowth moves again as the rain of mortor shells obliterate the majority of another 6 gun AA battery. The range finders see one last target. "Grid Tango, 2-4-6, HE Rounds, Fire for effect." Says the plants quietly.

The men hear the explosions and peer over the machine gun to see a massive amount of dust being kicked up. "Everyone scramble! There targeting our AA!" Everyone begins dismounting and taking cover away from the battery. A they feel their bones being rattled as the area near them is turned to craters by the artillery falls like the rain that had fallen a few hour earlier. As the artillery stopped they regrouped gathering items not destroyed by the torrent of shells, setting up defenses. Awaiting the coming invasion of Oren.

At 5:00 am 70 kilometers north of Oren, 1,100 Portum soldiers storm the unprotected beach, and immediately began advancing south towards the heavily protected city.

Coastal artillery begins firing on the Portum soldiers, as they landed from the most heavily defended side. Commander Rickon holomessages the Portum commander.

"YOU IMBECILE! PULL OUT NOW! If you want to participate in this front of the war, clue us in before you LAND 1,000 soldiers on the shore. Our navy almost fired on you!"

With the AA guns destroyed in Oren, much to the chagrin of Commander Rickon, who wanted to disable them only, the gifted helicopter drops in 6 Garde in the dark of night, who open the gates to the Fort. Crytonian and Quarkian soldiers rush in, and quickly have control of the Fort. Oren has been reclaimed.

Back at Mycra, the attack klaxons begin ringing, as a army appears over the horizon. The UMP army had snuck aroun the defensive line somehow. A holomessage is sent to the commander with the combined army, who splits his army in half. 800 soldiers back to Mycra, and 900 soldiers and 6 artillery to Crown.

The 1600 force from Cryton has landed on Uly, under Alex Merca. The tides of war are turning.

The troops withdraw for a loss of 52 men killed or captured. They then land 20 kilometers south, in a truly unprotected stretch of beach.

Erik and Lincoln reach Erik's Home.

Erik fired two rounds into Lincoln's stomach. Lincoln now coughing out blood.

"W-w-why?" Saying faintly just barely making the word out.

Guards came in picking up Lincoln.
"Guards, get the imposter. Take Mr.Lincoln here and make him look exactly like him. NOW!"
Taking him out of the room, Lincoln began shouting with blood spitting out.
"MONSTER!! NEVer nev.. er" Lincoln pass out due to blood lost.

Portum sends 1,300 more soldiers to help Aelia, bringing to total Topsail troops numbers there at 3,000.

The last of the UMP in Oren surrender after a good amount of guerrilla warfare. The men were relieved that they no longer had to send patrols into the sewers to find stragglers. The men carried the prisoners to the surface, loading them onto an osprey to be taken and tried in Aelian courts. After a long battle both Aelian and Quarkian troops could rest knowing that they no longer had to worry about raids.
