It was just beginning to cool down as the clouds moved in. A guard heard thunder in the distance. It surprised him as there was only a 30% chance of rain. He shrugged it off as there was still a chance. He went to get his poncho out of his pack. That was the last thing he did. An artillery shell went right through him exploding on in his chest. As it turned out there was a hundred percent chance of rain.

By the time that the first APC's left the trees the anarchists had already set up there defense. An rpg took out an APC's tracks immobalizing it. They opened fire on the emplacements. They made quick work of them as the artillery barrage took out most of the tanks in the base. They began to move into the base, clearing out the buildings one by one. As the stragglers were being mopped up the URS forces regrouped to move into a small town to the north east. Operation Resurrection had begun

Calabozo, Venezuela

Four F-35 fighters flew in formation towards the hiding place of Venezuelan President Antonio Hernandez, in Calabozo, 200 km SW of Caracas. They encountered no aerial resistance for most of the flight, a lot of the Venezuelan Air force had been destroyed in the air battle over Caracas. 30 km away from the city, they encountered a single J-L8 light attack aircraft, hastily converted to a half-ass fighter. One of the F-35's was hit with three 23 mm auto cannon shells, and was forced to fly back to friendly airfields in Caracas for repairs. The J-L8 was shot down, and the three remaining fighters continued on their mission.

Several minutes later, the fighters locked onto their target... a bunker located on the outskirts of the city. The lead F-35 dropped a single 2,000 kg JDAM bomb. Seconds later the bomb slammed into the bunker, and Hernandez was declared dead. Nobody could survive that explosion.

"Honey. I told you. You are staying in Tokyo. You are staying there for as long as I say." he said to his lover from across the computer screen. "I love you and I yearn to hold you in my arms, but the reports from NATO were wrong. La Revolucion is not gone. I won't tell anyone, but the Duke of Sahel forced me to execute him when I caught him redirecting funds to La Revolucion. I cannot tell. I don't know who of my counsel is trustworthy anymore. I trust you infinitely and I know you'll be safe in Tokyo. Please understand. I also have those Federation Radicals attacking me along the coast of Galicia. I love you. Now, go see Akulov and inform him you won't be returning home. I love you. I will see you again one day." he said, blowing his lover a kiss and ending the chat, Kaito's face blank and white, shocked and unable to move for an hour at the realization they would not be seeing eachother in person again. Kaito's loyalty and obedience to his Prince was absolute, so he did not dare consider ways to sneak into Valen, but instead took a plane to New Shanghai, looking for Akulov.

At 1500, June 23rd 2017, Valen Fleets, supported by Eastern tech, landed in Athens, beginning to retake the ancient empire of Greece for himself. Most of the troops gifted to them by the East and by Grothbord were being used in the attack, relying on previous troops to maintain order back home. Tore hoped that annexing the area would give him better access to his allies and give him negotiating powers by allowing him to sell off pieces of the territory to Grothbord and selling some of the islands as well. Anything to get more money to develop the Sahara.

The Ground combat was hectic, as the local populace was trained and patriotic in their fighting. The squeeze of the trigger of his Galil was familiar though, the kick kissing his shoulder like a forgotten lover. He felt at home here, in the midst of the chaos. Gunning another man down, he saw the Union Embassy with the tattered flag waving over a destroyed fortress, and his heart sank.

"When in the hell did the Union come here?! What the fuck are they doing here?" Oslo said, and ordered some of his men to move in and check for survivors. He radioed for helicopters to come into the area to pick up the Union bodies and wounded so they could be treated and prepped for transport to the Union.

Within another hour, the battle was finished. The Venezuelans suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of the GNF and Topsailian forces, and within 2 days GNF troops were in Caracas, effectively ending Venezuala. Oslo claimed Venezuala as a puppet government to the GNF, and moved his forces West toward Columbia.

Now it was time to end them and the La Revolucion cell there as well.

New Shanghai, Capital District

"Sir, breaking news from Venezuela," Imperator Akulov's secretary came into his office, her tablet with the latest articles. "The Union Embassy at Venezuela has been attacked - through air strikes from Topsail Forces, with Ambassador Tokugawa Hitachi and several others dead. Also-"

Imperator Akulov was about to slam his fist into his desk, but he allowed his secretary to continue.

"Also," the secretary cleared her throat. "President Antonio Hernandez is now dead, by a Topsailian air strike over at Calabozo. Antonio Hernandez was claimed to be supporting La Revolucion, by the Federation and Topsail Government."

"Those fucking Americans," Imperator Akulov said, his voice full of rage. "Seeing that they have that stupid Federation behind them, and they bomb our Embassy and kill Union personnel? This is a clear act of war against the Union - straight from Topsail, bombing our own Embassy!"

Then, he turned to the Minister of Defense - who had been present at the office for the moment - and commanded, "Prepare the Union Military to get ready for a war - we might have to destroy an enemy of ours. Also, prepare an official speech before Shanghai Square."

"Sir," the Minister of Defense said. "You know that a war against Topsailia will mean another war against the Northern Federation."

"Minister of Defense," Imperator Akulov said with clear pronunciation, glaring right into the Minister's eyes. "Do you dare think that the Union has feared the Federation all along? Do you - the very Minister of Defense, dare think that the Union has only seen such possibilities?"

Both the Minister of Defense and the Secretary were silent.

"Protests are going on all over the Union - Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul, and even Vladivostok!" Imperator Akulov said with fury. "The Union does not fear the Federation - much less fear Topsailia - those shitty fuckballs! And since they seem to not get that point, we must make them get that point! Do you understand, Minister?"

The Minister of Defense seemed to have suddenly developed an interest on his shoes. "Y-yes, sir," were the only words he was able to say against the Imperator.

The Federal Eastern Union

Following the Bombing of the Union Embassy in Caracas, the Federal Eastern Union was on high alert: it was on DEFCON-3, something that had never been declared since the founding of the Union itself; while the Union Military was preparing for an incoming war. The Federal Eastern Union Guided Missile Command (FEUGMC) was the first to react: getting the TEL's loaded with the ICBMs and IRBM's ready, the Missile Command was on the lead. Many of the TEL's moved to their positions in complete camouflage, awaiting orders for it to be launched. Both nuclear and conventional warheads were prepared to be launched toward their designated targets.

The Air Force had also been on high alert, like the Missile Command. Several B-10 supersonic stealth bombers, along with the new F-24 Falken fighters, were patrolling the eastern edges of Union airspace, awaiting the Imperator's command. Almost all of the Air Force's Fifth and Sixth Generation Fighters were either on air patrol or stand-by, standing ready in case a war broke out. SAM's, experimental lasers and radar stations under the Air Force's command were also standing with full radar, watching the Union airspace.

The Navy and the Army was no exception - the Navy advanced with seven carriers deployed toward the East Pacific, while the Union Army prepared for a possible invasion. The Navy, along with its entire Air Wing, stood upon the East Pacific with seven carriers throughout the seas, ensuring Union naval superiority in a possible war. The Army, though not actually facing combat at the second, received enough ammunition for a war that could last for weeks, while much of the artillery and mechanical forces were standing at a combat-ready position.

The Union Military was moving in many ways - however, one thing was sure: they were preparing for war.

President Abrams read the report on his desk. A Topsail pilot had accidentally attacked the FEU Embassy in Caracas. HIs first reaction was to contact Imperator Vladimir Akulov. He sent Vladimir an email.

I just heard of your embassy being bombed in Caracas, and I am deeply sorry for the lives that you have lost there. But we had no intention to bomb your embassy, and we never knew that you were even in Venezuela, because as we all know it is a socialist dictatorship. We will repay you for the damages caused in the bombing of the embassy, and the pilot involved likely mistook your embassy for the Columbian embassy right across the street. As I have said several times before, I am deeply sorry for what happened.

Admiral Joseph McDonald, commander of the Topsail Empire's Task Force E of the Pacific fleet was sleeping in his house when his secretary rushed in.

"Sir," he said while shaking McDonald awake, "Intelligence has reported that the FEU is sending seven carrier strike forces toward the Topsailian and GNF coast. It is likely that one will attack us here on the Galapagos."

McDonald, still half asleep, said groggily to his secretary, "Prepare the task force for immediate departure from port. We will leave at 10 am tomorrow. Now, let me get some rest."

His secretary saluted and said, "Yes sir!" before walking out of the room to go inform the ship captains.

Between 1600-1900 EST President [I don't know his name] of the The Empire of Reid and Topsail Empire President John Abrams held a meeting on the Topsailian Island of Trinidad, located just off of the Empire of Reid's coast. After a short meeting the Empire of Reid announced that it joined NATO, becoming the military organization's 4th official member, following Topsail Empire (founder of the alliance), the GNF (co-founder of the alliance), and the Laxus Union. To help the new country of Reid grow, Topsail Empire gifted The Empire of Reid 20 F-36 Thunder fighters, 30 F-35 fighters, 20 F-22 Raptor fighters, a license to produce all of the above planes, and 5 billion dollars of financial aid.

The Confederate States of The Southern Continent of America, originating in the Middle part of South America, has rapidly expanded to the ever the years, taking Hawaii, it's untapped riches, and Northern South America.
CSCSA's total population is around 700 million. Vast resources lay untapped in Hawaii and North South America, waiting to be developed. The official Capitol is Rio Di Janeiro, the Economic Capitol is Honolulu.

//irl the Russian navy is quite good. I doubt that will be true here but, I will be able to land many forces in a war (I have the landest landing craft ever created in my navy, it real look it up). As my airforce is meh but, my tanks can deal damage and be a formidable foe to the Abrams and Challenger tanks.//

President of the CSSCA invites President of Topsail to a meeting in Rio Di Janeiro. He wants to discuss the two small islands off the south east coast of South America.

Tore punched in the secure data code to the newly formed empire in Latin America. It was a simple introduction, no requests or offers involved, except making it clear which side Valen was on. Tore wrote it in moments, focusing on the Imperial Army's final strike on Greece, taking Albania, Kosovo, and Greece finally for the Valen Empire, trying to establish order now that the military threats were annihilated. Word was sent to Grothbord. Klaus needed to contact Tore immedietely, making it clear it was so that the foreign leader might recieve a gift from the Southern power. Most of the army returned, leaving minimal forces. The next expansion was to take more of the Sahara, but that could not be done until the country stabilized from earlier expansion.

Abrams accepts the President of the CSSCA's offer and 2 hours later boards Air Force One for the direct flight to Rio.

When Abram arrives the president expresses much pleasure in obtaining the islands from Atlantica, he asks for his support in such an action.
