Abrams says to the President, "I do support your intentions to obtain them, but peaceful means is the only current option. We do not want to start a way. Topsail Empire would be willing to assist you in buying the Islands if we may have a small naval base on the Islands."

The president replies, that this is a suitable agreement, and requests for a meeting between Atlantica, Topsail, and him in Rio.

As for you Atlantica, we have been in a Cold War for about 5 years now, and I have been developing my weapons technology too. As Topsail said, you're the only one of your alliance that would be able to stand up to an onslaught from us, not your 2 allies. Topsail and I can easily push you away from the Atlantic and have full control to the seas between each other for supplies, then push into the Indian and Pacific Oceans. As I said, war is a bad idea at this point. You may inflict casualties on us, but in the end you will lose. You also have to take into account my semi-fascist fanaticism and centralized government into account, not to mention Topsail's pre-police state as a way of organizing our people. I'm not saying you're weak, I'm saying that with your allies not being near the strength of yours, you would be too stretched out to stand up in a war for very long, and a long war is what you'll get.//

The East Pacific Ocean

Meanwhile, the Union Navy's East Pacific Task Force - seven carrier strike forces, led by aircraft carrier E.S.S. Genghis Khan - was still on the East Pacific, scattered throughout the ocean. Though the locations of each carrier strike unit was a classified secret, one was clear for the Task Force: they stood upon the East Pacific, close to the Americas than to the Union.

The commander of the East Pacific Task Force was Admiral Tokugawa Khan, who formerly commanded the Fifth Fleet from Yokosuka. He stood on the decks of the E.S.S. Genghis Khan and looked east toward the great East Pacific - where Topsailia stood, about two thousand miles away. For the past twenty-four hours, the Union and Topsailia were about to go into war against each other - following the bombings of the Union Embassy in Caracas. When they got to the news of the bombings, the Union Military was outraged against the Topsailians and demanded an operation - however, the Imperator commanded them to hold ground.

"But we will always be ready to attack, Imperator," Admiral Khan turned to the west for a second. "When Topsailia goes against us, we will be ready to punch back - all the way down Raleigh's throat, until we leave Mexico City like Hernan Cortes left it and burn Raleigh to the ground."

Meanwhile, the Task Force continued to hold ground: though they secured their positions firmly, the forces didn't seem to advance further. The Union Navy Air Wing kept sending newly-fielded F-25C Ghost Osprey fighters toward the east for air patrol, but hadn't gone in active action. Some of the Z-20 helicopters moved forward through the seas, but returned eventually.

There seemed to be high tension upon the East Pacific - it was the Union versus Topsailia.

New Shanghai, Capital District

Imperator Vladimir Akulov was starting his work on his Galaxy Note VI, when he noticed a notification from the new Southern power - the Southern Continent of America. However, he also noticed a summit between the new leader and John Abrams - President of Topsailia. Through the summit, Imperator Akulov saw that the Southern Continent of America joined the NATO - the joint military organization led by Topsailia, and rival alliance for the Union.

"Well, Topsail's supporting the South - time for us to give greater support," Imperator Akulov said. "And as for the summit... Ms. Laisan, notify the S.C.A. Government that the Imperator is coming."

"Yes, sir." Ms. Laisan, Secretary of Imperator Akulov, walked out of the office.

About thirty minutes later, Imperator Akulov, along with several escorts, soldiers and a few governmental officials, was on Air Force One - heading from Shanghai to Rio de Janeiro, while taking a stop in Sendai.

The President quietly pulls Abram into his office and says "It has come to my attention that you have betrayed an ally in the past... I am cutting all ties with you and NATO... I apologize but please leave my nation immediatley, it's nothing personal, just business"

The President pulls the Federal Eastern Union into his office, and he decides to join the imperialist cause, he offfers to buy the falkland islands for 2.5 billion, under the assumption that he can keep a small naval base on the island.

After hearing of Reid's betrayal, President Abrams orders the planes about to be delivered to deploy to Panama under the Topsailian Air force, and the 5 billion dollars in financial aid is withdrawn.

After ordering the help shipments to not take place, Abrams promptly boards his presidential limo, aptly named "The Beast" for it's near impenetrable armor and large size, and travels to the airport where he boards Air Force One and ten minutes later he ha left Rio, flying back to Raleigh. In the air he orders the Topsail military to go to Defcon- One, and orders the ballistic missile silos in Kansas, Nebraska, and North Dakota to ready for launch. The ballistic missiles are mostly nuclear, although some have massive thermobaric explosive warheads.

The entire Pacific Fleet is dispatched from Port, Task Forces A, B, and C depart their ports in Southern California and Baja California, Task Force D deploys off of the Panama Canal, and Task Force F in Topsailian Polynesia deploys off of Tahiti.

All three of the task forces in the Caribbean Fleet deploy off of the Reid coast, knowing that if War breaks out with the FEU, their ally Reid will invade Topsailia. All six task forces in the Atlantic Fleet deploy in the Mid-Atlantic, ready to repel an attack from the FEU expeditionary squadron in Valen.

Rio de Janeiro, Empire of Reid

"Topsailians... they've done it again," Imperator Akulov sighed, as the plane landed on Rio de Janeiro.

He had just been notified of Topsailian military movement upon the East Pacific and North America - they were reacting faster than he had expected. He had expected the naval movements over both the Pacific and the Atlantic - however, he hadn't really seen the ballistic missile part coming up. Though their intent was unclear, he saw one thing clear from the Topsailian movement: never underestimate your potential enemy.

Imperator Akulov headed for the Presidential Palace upon the Empire of Reid via his car - nicknamed the 'Moving Bunker', for its incredible armor and defenses against potential attacks. The car, along with several escorts and decoys, made their way through the roads of Rio de Janeiro, until they finally reached the Presidential Palace.

"Imperator!" The Reid President was already out on the gates, waiting for him. "You are here - finally."

"Hola, President," Imperator Akulov raised his hand before him in greeting. "Good to see you - this time, as a leader of an allied nation."

Inside the Presidential Palace

"The Topsailians have acted against us, you see," the Reid President said from his leather recliner. "Following my notification that they are no longer welcome here, the President just left us and... bang! They just prepare for war just like that."

"Wait till they face the Union," Imperator Akulov said, snickering. "As you know, Topsailia is no match against the Federal Eastern Union - a powerful nation, one of the most powerful military only to be challenged to be that of the Northern Federation."

"But if a war really breaks out, Reid may fall before Topsailia - after all, we are a new nation, with an old military." The Reid President shook his head sadly. "Plus, without the Topsailian fighters, we only have a limited number of aircraft to combat their powerful air force."

Imperator Akulov smiled. "Don't worry about that, mi amigo - along with me, I have brought the first part of our alliance - F-25A's from the Union Air Force. Though they were going to be decommissioned, they have been heavily modified - almost to that of the current F-25C's of the Union Air Force."

"Awesome," the Reid President smiled. "Anything else, in addition to that?"

"The Union will extensively support your military: in a matter of weeks, over three hundred F-26 Dark Eagles - whose dogfight capabilities rival that of the F-22 - will arrive from the Union," Imperator Akulov continued. "But the fighters aren't everything: we will be able to export you a few Zeus-Class carriers, with a price of $2 billion each. And to add on, we can provide you with state-of-the-art K-2 Black Panther MBT's - those enough to combat M1A2's, and those that have created the 'Tank Grave' in Mongolia, back in the first war."

These reports scared Ivan. Both side arming nukes and ballistic missiles, thus is the new Cold War only skipping most of the other things an going directly into the Cuban Missile Crisis Atlantic standoff. He opened up his computer and began to type an email.

My Dear Friend Akulov,
This situation has gotten out of hand. I don't want to risk destroying the world over one embassy. I know it was your territory, but to start a conflict that we had started to end. If you go to war over an accidental bombing I'm afraid that I will not join said war as that is a reduce loud reason to do so and I am still trying to get over internal issues in my own country.

He then pulled up an email to Olso and Abrams.

I am writing to you to request that no one uses any kind of nuclear weapons for fea that if launched the radiation will spread into my nation. A message to Abrams. I have requested that The Union stand down and will request the same of you, and yes I know that you were doing it out of defense.

The town welcomed the URS as they were being suppressed by a different faction that split from the Hockesin Anarchists, forming a military leadership in the nearby valley. A sniper team watched from a hilltop. They noted a mass of tanks forming in the lower valley. They noted the coordinates and relayed it tot command.

103 miles from the East URS Border

Paratroopers filled the sky as Operation Falling Sky commenced. A battalion of paratroopers was to be dropped to secure an airfield so armor may be airdropped to the forces and to cut supply lines of the Anarchists and other rebel groups that have formed.

President Reid was outraged at the threat of Topsaol, and gladly accepts The Imperators offer. He warns Topsail to remove the soldiers just off the coast of CCSA and quickly orders troops to mobilize. At any sign of trouble they will respond swiftly without a second thougt. In a speech to his people he says "Fellow confederados! Los males de los Estados Unidos han movilizado a sus tropas junto a nuestra costa! No vamos a tolerar esto y nuestra respuesta será rápida e inmediata! Estados Unidos es el mal. Viva La Confederación"

President Abrams refuses to withdraw the fleet, as they are located in Sovereign, Topsailian waters. Topsail Empire troops on the Islands of Curaçao and Trinidad are put on high alert, in case of a Reid invasion. He replies to the email that Commisar Ivan of the URS sent him:

We will agree to stand down in the East Pacific if the FEU will return it's vessels to it's own territorial waters and will no longer threaten war. We do not want a war, but it is clear that Akulov does.

Rio de Janeiro, Empire of Reid

Imperator Akulov was still upon Rio de Janeiro for the Summit - after all, the Empire of Reid had become the newest ally of the Union. He was taking a break when the message came from Ivan - the Commissar of Russia.

"Excuse me for a moment, President," Imperator Akulov said to the Reid President, and headed for a private room. He checked the message from Ivan, and wrote up a reply:

I understand that you do not want another war between me and another nation. However, as you see, my forces stand in open waters, thereby not invading Topsail space so far. However, I will assure you that I would not take any further actions beyond maintaining the current forces in the East Pacific.

The people of Saint Helena woke up to the sound of fighter jets flying overhead. Many looked out of their window to see an entire Topsailian naval Task Force right off the shore of the harbor Jamestown. About two hours later Admiral Joe Schnyder, the leader of the Topsail Empire Atlantic Fleet's Task Force G, which was only two weeks old, broadcast terms to the islanders via radio and television broadcasts. The shocked islanders watched as 4,000 Topsailian troops landed on the Islands, at first there was no resistance but within minutes of landing the Island's small police force fired on the soldiers, and the resulting firefight left 10 Topsailian Marines killed or wounded, and left 12 Island Police Officers dead, wounded, or captured. At 1800 hours the President of Saint Helena officially surrendered to the Topsailian fleet, and Admiral Schnyder declared the Island a sovereign territory of Topsailia.

About 20 police officers and deputized citizens that had fought the Topsailian troops had retreated to the mountains in the center of the island, and refused to surrender. They fortified the top of a mountain near the center of the Island, and at 2300 4 Topsailian F-35 jets launched airstrikes on the small resistance force. About 14 of the resistance fighters were killed, and the rest escaped into the valley below, where 2 days later they surrendered. Saint Helena was officially Topsailia's.

The South American country tried to claim the country of Venezuela under the fact of their new confederacy was annexing lands in the South American continent, but under the government control of the GNF, King Oslo forbid it. He fought La Revolucion for this country, it was his puppet.

"Show these people the Generosity of the Northern Federation. Build schools here and upgrade their infrastructure. Bring some of our companies here and start flowing money into this country. They'll love us for it, I'll bet," Oslo said.

"Yes sir," one of his advisers from the Parliament said, and started making phone calls.

He then pulled a tablet out of his pack and opened it, seeing an e-mail from the Russian leader. He was skeptical, but once he saw the email, he was touched. An ally of the FEU was peading with him not to arm. He sent an email back to him:

I'm touched by your plea, and I see that an all out nuclear war would be more catastrophic than any war fought by humanity combined. Thank you for trying to keep the Union from doing anything... Drastic.

I think with your announcement of your independence and alliance with the Union, we got off on the wrong foot. I would like to pursue amicable relations with you, though I am sure you're aware of our conduct as of late. In our defense, we have just recently left a war with the old regime and in our opinion, we were shorted in the peace treaty because we inflicted more upon them than they against us, and they were the ones invading a peaceful country. We have suffered under their arrogance for years, though I will admit that we Vikings have been arrogant since the GNF was formed.

We were once friends with the old government of the Russian Empire, creating a European Union to formalize our alliance. I wish to continue to have relations such as these with the Russians as we have before, as the old country was a faithful ally who backed us 100%. I understand though, if you wish to not do so, but I still would like to pursue amicable relations.
