The first IJ-1 has been completed, and test flights have started. It has revealed that the jet has slight control issues, but that is rather easy to fix. The IJ-1 is officially put on the market for 350 million chunks each.

200 Freedom guns are by air to Portum. When the plane arrives they do not deliver the guns until the money is safely in the plane. When the money is delivered they put the guns in the waiting car.

"I just dont understand all this military buildup. There shouldnt be any more wars for a long time with Eroebr out of the picture. It makes me suspicious. Im also confused with why everyone is determined to be the best air industry, it seems like Sardia has that pretty much locked down. Portum especially is the most confusing nation. They try to do everything, and end up really lacking overall. They are deeply in debt from exchanging random quantities of money everywhich way, and they seem to have a "secret project" released every year. Its not really secret if my CITIZENS knew about it."

Governor Eric remarks similarly: It seems the rest of the nations are a fan of military porn. Not that I am anti-military, but a couple of villages would be struggling to build billions of dollars of military equipment. Hell, the five Nighthounds we have built are made from disassembling machinery we brought with us from the original colonization. And yes, Portum just seems to be unable to come up with their own ideas.

Also, we asked a while back if we could order two destroyers from your shipwrights. We are willing to pay $55 million for the rental of your facilities, and we will provide all resources.

Governor Winston replies,

"Since when are passenger aircraft considered military buildup? Plus it is not our government which is in debt, it is Portum Air that is in debt. But with increased air travel, plus offering things like "Economy Comfort" in which we add a inch more legroom and make it 10 bucks more, we can get out of debt within to next two years. We don't have to pay full price for our domestically made jets, we pay rock bottom prices."

"Sir, we began building your ships two years ago, but the war put them on the back burner. They will be delivered in two months."

The Serti leader watches the bomber roll over the horizon. The last of the boats have just left. He sighs as gunfire he hears gun fire from the entrance. His soldiers would never hold out against the Quarkians. He click the send button on his message to the other colonies. He send it to a major news company in Quark. Telling of the reason Joseph is attacking them. The door burst open and Joseph with a group of soldiers walks in.

"Commissar Joseph." The man addresses him with disgust.

"Ah! President Holiday! A pleasure meeting you. I haven't meet you in person. Please let me extend a hand to you." He says reaching out to give the man a hand shake. Holiday reaches forward. He stops as he is thrown to the ground. A sharp pain erupting from his chest. "I must thank you," Joseph says smiling. Pull his gun from the holster. "For handing this land back to its rightful owners, the Quarkians." He puts the gun to the Nan's head and pulls the trigger.

"David!" A man sitting at a desk yells.

"What is it now Ryan." A man walking over obviously annoyed.

"You have to see this!" He said urgently, the usual smile not eminating from his face. David read over the email. He grabs Ryan's phone.

"Get the news crew rolling NOW." He says to the person in the other line.

"3-2-1" the director signaled that they were on air.

"Breaking news today in Quark. As the Serti capital falls we have received a message from the leader of the Serti with something none of us expected. It turns out that Joseph has a war for the resources in their land. We are murdering them for no reason." The news room bursts open.

"Turn it off now." A soldier commands. They comply. "Give us the tape."

"It's was alread aired!" A cameraman says. The soldier looks at him and promptly puts a round in his head.

"Kill them all." The soldier says. He leaves, calling Joseph. "Commissar Joseph. The population knows about the war."

Yohn Vardas watched the news and saw the camera man being shot. Standing up, contemplation of committing himself to be at odds with the Quarkians ran through his mind like a bullet. Committing to a large scale war would be unwise, as even though his men were superior biologically and in training, there was simply not enough men. He sighed, seeing the regime treat it's people like they were.

He turned to his wife, "Get Portum on the phone, and I want a line opened up to our neighbors to the east. Wouldn't hurt to have the Aelians on our side too. I'll converse with the Vassal Lords."

"Yes my love," his wife said, kissing him before leaving the room.

Twenty minutes later in the war room in the palace at Cape Vardas, his men discussed political and military options for hours, before they came up with a plan.

The first to receive news from Dotaar, Marc and his commanders, primarily Alex Merca, situated themselves in a council room and contacted Yohn. "Good morning Governor Yohn, i heard you wanted to speak to me."

Governor Winston was second to receive the message, and five minutes later he was on his way to PIA, and his recently bought private jet, an RJ-1. He would be in Dotaar in 1 1/2 hours.

Terrance looks at the news with horror, as most of the population was probably doing the same. He leaves his office and approaches a pilot. "Ready your osprey we're going to Sardia."

"What for?" The pilot asks

"I have a meeting I need to attend to." He replied briskly. The pilot left and Terrance walked to his secretary. "I'm going on a business trip and won't return for a few days. Tell George he's in charge of the company while I'm gone."

"I will do that sir." He responded to Terrance.

"Good, see you in a few." He said as he left his office and out into the Tarmac of Quark City International Airport. The CEO didn't looks around as he usually did when he went on a trip. The situation was bound to become ugly quickly.

"All citizen of Quark," a loud speaker blared as Terrance approached his osprey, "all weapons are now banned, any weapons found by a manditory scan will be taken by force and the owners jailed." The loud speaker shutoff. It was already starting. Terrance had to move quickly before the Joseph banned all unauthorized outbound travel. He openned the door of his waiting osprey, climbed in, and put his headset on. The osprey began to leave the Tarmac, enroute to Sardi, where he will ask the other colonies for help.

Protesters are gathered around the capital in Quark City. Police and a few military vehicles attempting to keep the about 50 people at bay.

"No more Murder!" They all chant. Joseph stares out at the masses and frowns. 'It has come to this' he thinks to himself. He pushes a button on his desk and the door nearby opens. He walks out onto his balcony and taps the microphone place there earlier by police. A guard signals that the cameras are rolling.

"Peopl of Quark! Why do you dislike the deed that I have done? I have helped this great nation gather resources and expand! The only thing out last leader did was laze about and do almost nothing important for this country. I am the best ruler this country has seen and those of your who can't accept it, well... Just watch." The cameras turn towards the protesters. Joseph signals. Machine guns chatter to life, the protesters scatter as their friends are torn down by gunfire. The bodies of the dead pile up and the wounded left behind. A few minutes later ospreys arrive and drop soldiers onto the courtyard.

"Finish the survivors. I don't want any alive." Joseph said turn back to leave the massacre. He enters his office and sits down. Ever so often a shot is heard as a soldier excicutes a protester. He picks up the phone and dials a number. "Rela. You may begin your assault."

It's time for another vote in Kosmos! Voters file into the booths expecting to see normal ballots. Instead the ballots read: 1) Grant 2) Grant 3) Grant. The voters are outraged but can't do anything about it because of the fully armed Kosmosian soldiers. Former citizens of Erobeder expect to be able to vote to but the guards are under strict orders not to let them vote. The guards turn the former Erobederian citizens away, and two of the erobedorians are shot at point, blank range in the head for "resisting direct soldiers orders". One other gets brutally beat with batons by soldiers for refusing to leave a voting booth.
