Governor Sort vows to never let what happened to the original colony, happen to the new colony. He, with the help of the people write a constitution based on a representive democracy with a counsel to limit the Commissar's power,a little like in Falling Stars. They focus on building. Half the population on housing and half on farms. The new land seems quite void of intelligent life, meaning less potential conflict from them.

When the colonists land, opinion is split of where to head. Half the colonists propose settling on the coast, while the other half propose settling on the Inland. After official Aelian correspondence, the colonists split. 25,000 colonists head to th river, and 25,000 head to the sea, each to determine their own fates. The river settlement is name Newhaven, and the ocean settlement is named Lyon, in honor of Admiral Lyon. They agree to reduce their numbers equally if the Superpower colonization sanction passes.

I haven't decided where on Maxima to land, but I will be sending down the full 20,000 there, and I'll bring in an additional 52,000 civilians and 8,000 soldiers to Sardia, so long as that permits me to drop 20,000 per additional planet created to those planets. Have I understood correctly?

The Kosmosian fleet meets the Quark fleet, by surprise, and a short battle ensues. Kosmos shows no mercy when in a battle and the results are evident after the battle. There are many Quark damages //number can be decided by quark// and few Kosmos damages. The Kosmosian fleet loses 3 submarines, and 1 landing craft.

Generals are confounded by the defeat. The defensive line should have worked against their fleet. Damaging 1 combat ship, 2 minisubs and sinking a minisub and a combat ship. The submarines focus fire on the destroyers as battleships pose a small threat o submarines due to their lack of depth charges. //you never posted your loses from my airstrip Reid//

The PAF launches airstrikes on the Quarkian troops, losing 4 helicopters to kill [decided by Stars] troops. The troops withdrawn from the Dotaar border arrive, reinforcing the troops already in the city. Portum has suffered 64 dead, 110 wounded so far, so the reinforcements are brought up to the front lines almost immediately, to give the troops that have been fighting for days a rest.

The buildings nearby allow a good majority of the infantry to stay unharmed, losing 10 men, 14 minor injuries (back in a week), and 13 major injuries (not dead but had to be shipped back to Quark on a helicopter for serious medical attention.) //medical helicopters are not to be fired upon, but they can't be used in attacking.// The air strike also cause major damage to the armor and guns of 2 APCs putting them out of commission for the next 3-4 weeks.
The navy opens fire on the battleships with the halibut-class submarine's cannons. And using the remaining minisub to he close and plant charges on the sides of isolated boats. The combat ships put up a smoke screen and retreat behind it to draw in the Enemy ships. When all of that is done they detonate the armed charges damaging [Reid insert][Top insert] and destroying [reid insert] losing one navy officer and slightly damaging a combat ship.

The two remaining landing craft are loaded. They touch down on the beach, and they storm the beach. They enter the city and take cover. They join the Portum soldiers and help advance.

With the Quarkian troops now surrounded by 5,000 Portum and Kosmos troops, and their navy kept from leaving by the combined navies of Portum and Kosmos, Governor Winston invites the Quarkian Leader //I forget his name// to a peace conference that will be held in //[Sardia, can we hold it in your capital because your the Switzerland of the Colony RP?}//.

My b3 flys over dropping daisy cutters into the streets to destroy buildings, knock down buildings, and create areas where it would be hard for vehicles and infantry to pass. The retreating Quarkian troops also light buildings on fire to slow the advancing troops, repurposing the captured Portum mines in the rubble. //enjoy topsail!// they lost a total of 49 troops in the advance leaving a booby trapped challenger III behind. //no you guys don't know about the traps//.
