Colony RP 2.0 [INVITE ONLY]

2,234 Colonist venture into the land to create a new city. They failed. The Colonist were ambushed by native creatures killing them all. A Ceremony was held in the capital for their braveness. Klaus was informed during the meeting, Shedding a tear he went to the bathroom to cry.

Lincoln, is dis-heartened to hear of the massacre, and offers his condolences to Klaus. He offers any help Klaus might need with this tragic event.

Klaus thanks Lincoln, And shakes off the news quickly.
"Gentlemen, I say we need more security when our colonist go to make new cities. The only way to do so is to eradicate this planet of it's natural animals! Nothing will be able to hurt us!" Cries Klaus in the Meeting.

Sir Victor stands at the back of the room chatting with the Trust advisor.

Hearing of the sentient native creatures, Portum mobilizes. Soldiers patrol the walls of Portum and the other towns day and night.

"Hear hear! These native barbarians must be exterminated! They are the poison in our veins, with them here our colonists can never truly be safe!" Lincoln cries in agreement.

Jem attempts to bring order to the room, as mayhem ensues.
He then yells at Klaus, "YOU FOO! You are going to kill off the native sentient species? Thats genocide! I am sorry for your loss, but Aelia will not be joining in this war."

Klaus in the middle of the meeting orders a chemical weapon to be made, Non-effective to humans but deadly to the native creatures.

Sir Victor speaks up. "If they can take out a detachment of your colonists, then maybe there are things we need to learn from the. They obviously have been here longer than we have, and we all could use that to our advantages." His Trust advisor nods in agreement.

Klaus dismisses Jem and continues to preach the killing of the creatures.
"TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF OUR PEOPLE WE MUST FIGHT THESE INSOLENT CREATURES! THOSE WHO DO NOT FIGHT DO NOT DESERVE TO LIVE THOSE WHO FIGHT DESERVE TO LIVE! JOIN IN THE EXTINCTION OF THE CREATURES!"

Sir Victor slams his fist on the table. "You will not kill a single one of these inhabitants! They may contain secrets to this planet that you can only dream of. Think before you speak!"

"Klaus, a chemical weapon would be in direct violation of the Galactic code. Sir Victor, that is a valid point, but these natives seem to be hostile to other species, and speak a different language

the governor, now called the "Commissar" by the people, chats with the members at the meeting table. "Jem, I am Commissar Troski of the Empire of Quark, we are moving towards clean energy, this new planet must be preserved and kept clean from the burning of fuels. I ask that every other leader do the same, in the name of Artraes." Commissar explains to the masses.

Back in his home the people listen to the radios waiting for the response of the other nations. All construction stops as the Helimen hope that the others will follow in their footsteps. It so happens that this day is the time in which the first biome in complete. Fireworks burst in the air over the dome and the entire nation celebrates the event with champagne and trucks loads of popcorn. The time to feed themselves off the land has begun, throwing them into a new time. A time of bounty and endless food.

Klaus calls off the chemical weapons, Multiple 'Awwws' are heard from Klaus's Phone.
"These beast will kill the last of us! WE MUST ACT FIRST SIR VICTOR! AS MY GREAT GRANDFATHER, KLAUS ADLER ONCE TOLD ME 'Eat or be eaten' He was mentally insane after he was burnt. BUT THATS NOT THE POINT WE MUST KILL THEM!"

"All though your point may be true, have you yet tried to conduct reason with them?" His Trust advisor steps out into the hall.

"Commisar, while i agree with you, and will work towards the same goals, we have no powet to enforce that in other nations."

" Go ahead and die by them. 1 Colonist by the name of Mateo Macias. Survived, He told me that the creatures look liked the ones in the stories his Great Great Grandfather used to tell him about. His grandfather was Diego Macias. Leader of the first Grothborian Colony."

"These creatures are of the planet. WE MUST preserve them!" the Commissar says smacking his hand on the table. "If we kill these creatures we lose the chance for science and diversity to reign on this planet. If you kill these creatures without them attacking your people our nation will be forced to cut trade and other commodities with yours." Troski says bitterly to Klaus and the council.

"But commisar, he did lose his population. 2,000 citizens died to these natives."

Sir Victor steps out of the room as his Trust advisor walks in. "It is in our best interest to examine the origins of the inhabitants. We must ask if there is any information on the locations of these inhabitants, and may it be passed to me now."

"We're invading their land! They have the right to kill us if they want. We can send colonists to a different area, and with more guards. If they can communicate with the natives somehow we might be able to bring them into the culture of our communities, peacefully. Everything we find we always think is ours, but it was theirs before we came here. This is the reason we started the colony in the tundra, there is barely any hostile species and no intelligent life besides us. I'll be damned of we take their land from them!" The Commissar says with every once of emotion he could muster without getting angry. He was slightly scared that his anger may start causing hallucinations in the others.

Governor Banks butts in:

"How about we have a compromise. Grothbord gets permission to kill 2,000 natives, an eye for an eye."

The Commissar clearly unhappy states, "If no other agreement can be made fine. But, just the thought of those creatures being killed brings an indescribable amount of sadness to my heart. I know none of my people will be happy about this compromise. If you'll excuse me I need to let off some steam before everyone is assaulted by my hallucinations." He gets up and goes outside the building, a beautiful sun dropping behind the trees near the building. 'I have failed my brothers' he said expecting some act of god to strike him down for failing to keep the natural balance of the planet.

"You can all do as you wish with the natives, this will be a divided issue nonetheless. Next issue of business?"

Sir Victor walks in slowly, takes a deep breath and slicks his hair back, then dismisses his advisor. "No one will lay a finger on these natives, and if we find that you do so, there will be consequences."
