Re: Valenist Party
Eh. I realize. Just thought I'd share my ideals out there. What with the libertarians and the absolutists and the straight down the middle, why not add more variety

Re: Valenist Party
Um. I believe this is not so much a political party as a description of your government.

Valenist Party
Valenist policicies, (as opposed to the major religion of Valenism), is a political system based around Tore Valen, or whatever your absolute monarch -known as The Proxy- might be named.
In Valenist States, The Proxy is the absolute leader of the nation. His or her mandates are law and cannot be opposed. In Valen, however not in all Valenist states, The Proxy is also the head of the state religion, however Freedom of Religion is mandated by The Proxy. There are local governments and areas may decide for themselves how they will run their own governments as long as a single clause is followed. No local government can overturn The Proxy's mandates and are subject to The Proxy. Otherwise, local governments can range from direct democracies to local military dictatorships to theocratic meritocracies. The state owns all in the end. Private property is obviously legal, but it is all more like renting with the State serving as landlord. The state is required to maintain the value of property used by citizens and to increase the amount of public services, buildings, and the like available to citizens. Private Enterprise does not exist, however a system similar to it exists with the State serving as CEO of all corporations, however below that level it operates similar to a capitalistic society. Those who invent things like new methods of processing steel, create great works of art, develop new products, etc., are rewarded. Those who create great artwork are published and have access to better homes, services, etc., so long as their artwork is still being created and passes rigorous critique to show artistic talent. Those who have acting talent can audition for roles in state television. Those who pitch ideas to the state for shows may get careers in directing. There is no propaganda allowed under Proxy Mandate, however this is subject to change, and the state does obviously speak highly of itself, but censorship is not done. The state's actions should speak for themselves.
For questions and debates, please contact The Valen Empire or post in this forum. Raging Capitalists or Libertarians or the like will be removed. Constructive and formal criticism is fine.
