Character Control?
This thread is to discuss the control of another person's character. What is allowed? To what extent? Etc.
Re: Character Control?
Well first of all, there are a couple of things we can do.
1. you are allowed to have a character speak small sentences. Affirmatives, and such. Keep it below a sentence.
2. If a long conversation is neccesary, i can to two things.
A. Number one, we can set a "syncing time." Basically this means that all the characters can be out of sync until the sycning time/ event occurs. Everyone must be in sync then.
b. Number two, plan your conversation with the other player through TGs, and then have one player post it all. It will help keep conversations quick and not fill up the board.
3. Some things you may not do.
a. physically control another player in any way shape or form.
b. have another player speak anything that is not an affirmation or previously known info.
Any questions, comments, or abusive insults?

Re: Character Control?
Well, what I wrote down on the RP was my argument. As long as they aren't portraying your character OOC, having you be someplace that you didn't specify you were at or going to in your last post, or have you say something out of your person's character. Say this for example:
"Jason, get back here!" Marcus ordered.
"No, I think I'm pretty good right here," Jason said, grinning at his enemy that surrounded him, "Which one of you bastards think you can kill me, huh? FAH DOTARIA!!!" With that, Jason continued to kill more of the things.
"Damnit, fucking Dotarians. OPEN FIRE!" Marcus ordered, leveled his gun, and fired into the enemy killing one of them in his first burst.
Something like this is what I'm talking about. You portrayed Marcus as a competent and intelligent warrior, and he is the commander of this group. It would make sense that if one person was surrounded on all sides, the man would try to call Jason back. Since he is a competent warrior, who also doesn't have a problem with dishonoring Dotarians, then the last line would be true to character as well.
Any thoughts on this?
