Ivan sits in his office sipping cider and watching a Futball match. The URS Russian team versus FEU Japanese team. A very close game, at half time it is 3-2 Japan leading. Tomorrow it would be Dotorian England versus Topsailian North East.

0000 September 2nd, 2018
The Bay of Biscay, 500 km northwest of Bordeaux

While a war had just started on Eastern and Northern Europe, the North Atlantic seem to remain in a state of peace - partly because of G.N.F. superiority, and partly because of the Union presence as well. The Fifth Fleet, based in Cadiz and other bases around the North Atlantic, was moving toward the North Atlantic to prepare for all possible battles around the area. Whenever peace was threatened, the Union will be there to reorganize peace.

However, even before the Fifth Fleet, there stood a Vanguard Fleet upon the Bay of Biscay - about five hundred kilometers northwest of Bordeaux, the Vanguard Fleet was already moving up toward the English Channel. The Vanguard Fleet consisted of:

1 x Union-Class Amphibious Assault Ship
1 x Zheng He-Class Destroyer
1 x Imperator-Class Destroyer
2 x Odoacer-Class Destroyers
2 x Shanghai-Class Littoral Combat Ships

Aboard the E.S.S. Xian (Zheng He-Class Destroyer) stood the commander of the Vanguard Fleet, Admiral Barzai Fu. Advancing through the Bay of Biscay, Admiral Fu was surprised on how it reminded him so much of the Juan de Fuca Strait in 2014 - the famous naval battle against the then-Atlantican Navy and the G.N.F. They were advancing toward the seas of potential danger - one wrong move will equal in their utter deaths.

However, he knew that the Union grew distinctly different from that of the old Atlantica in the past four years - while keeping a significant army, it had invested critically in the Navy, Air Force and the Spec Ops. The Union Navy was the only navy in the Pacific that can rival that of the G.N.F. and Topsailia combined, while the Air Force could gain superiority against that of the G.N.F. with certain odds.

Suddenly, while the fleet was still advancing, the anti-air radars of the E.S.S. Xian and the destroyers detected incoming projectiles approaching at twice the speed of sound, over three hundred kilometers to the northeast. They started at a few dozen missiles - however, by the second, the numbers expanded, until there were over three hundred missiles heading straight toward the Vanguard Fleet.

"Engage the missiles with interceptors!" Admiral Fu commanded, as the long-range interception missiles were launched subsequently. Now the entire Vanguard was at high alert: they were under attack by an unconfirmed enemy. "Where the hell are those missiles coming from - the G.N.F. or Grothbord?"

"It's unconfirmed, sir!" His lieutenant said.

"Well, intercept anyway!" Admiral Fu commanded again.

Then, the interception began: long-range interception missiles striking the first wave of missiles at the speed of over Mach 7. Once they got within eighty kilometers, the mid-range interceptors began to move forward - at over five times the speed of sound, taking out the missiles that have past through the long-range interceptors. Meanwhile, the entire fleet was also moving: turning towards the west, then attempting to make its way south to Valenian waters. Chaff and ECM (Electronic Countermeasures) began to prove its worth - firing up toward the missiles, jamming and downing many of them. When the mid-range interceptors failed, then the short-range missiles and the CIWS opened fire - the last-minute defenses. The Vanguard Fleet had over 150 short-range missiles - nearly enough to take out all of the missiles. The CIWS, firing at over 4,000 rounds per minute, took down the last-second missiles before they struck the Fleet.

"All missiles secured, Admiral!" Admiral Fu's lieutenant reported.

"Excellent," Admiral Fu said. Suddenly, the anti-air radars detected two more projectiles - this time, approaching them at over five times the speed of sound, from the same approximate distance. A second later, eighteen more projectiles appeared from the same location, as if the missile broke apart into warheads.

"What is this thing?" Admiral Fu said, while the long-range interceptors began to fire automatically. Then, everything started to come into him: eighteen more projectiles showing up, moving at over five times the speed of sound. It was the weapon that had saved him four years ago, but now coming around to take away his life.

It was the ASBM - Anti-Ship Ballistic Missile.

Nevertheless, the Union Vanguard Fleet continued to attempt interception - against ten warheads, now moving at almost six times the speed of sound. Five of the warheads were intercepted by the mid-range interceptors - a matter of luck. Two of the warheads had been jammed, thanks to electronic warfare. However, eleven of them struck the fleet, while two of them were misguided.

For the next seconds, the entire Vanguard Fleet deteriorated into chaos - despite their efforts, none of them excluding the E.S.S. Saladin (Imperator-Class Destroyer) avoided destruction. With eleven massive thuds and subsequent explosions, almost all of the Vanguard sank into the sea, along with over 1,000 marines and 1,300 naval soldiers.

The Union had been attacked by an unconfirmed power through the attack - the deathly naval battle was only the beginning of the 'Break of Neutrality'.

King Oslo
Meeting in Shanghai, FEU

Oslo stepped off the plane that carried him to the FEU, and he looked around him to see how much his old enemy had changed. They had definitely westernized. Oslo smiled a little and walked on, following the Special Operations Operatives he brought with him as bodyguards. They entered a caravan of Chevy Tahoe Trucks outfitted with bullet resistant glass and plating, and headed out.

They drove to the meeting place in the middle of Shanghai, and Oslo walked out of the truck with the guards who were in it. The Imperator greeted him himself, "Welcome to the Union!"

"It is a great welcome. I see you are the succession to your predecessor, so I'll introduce myself. "I'm King Oslo II Gustaf, Lord of Sweden and King of the GNF," Oslo said, shaking the man's hand. Even on the steps, gods the Asian was short!

0900 September 2nd, 2018
100 km off of La Rochelle, Grothbord

Admiral John Hickett paced around the bridge of the Bull Run class battleship TNS Leyte Gulf trying to come up with battle plans in his head. He commanded a massive fleet of 2 Carrier Strike Groups, 10 Expeditionary Strike Groups (carrying a total of 30,000 troops), 5 destroyer squadrons, 8 LCS squadrons, and 1 battleship squadron. He knew that if he succeeded he could end the war early, and save thousands of Topsailian, GNF, and URS lives. He also knew that if he failed, there would be 30,000 dead Topsailians on the beaches of France.

While he was deep in thought the captain of the vessel walked up to him, "Sir, should we commence the bombardment of the coast?"

Hickett turned to the captain and said, "yes. But try to conserve cruise missiles, we might need them incase a couple Grothbordian frigate squadrons decide to show up. I woud prefer if you used you 6 20 cm Advanced Gun Systems. Relay that order to the other battleships, please."

"Yes Sir," stated the Captain as he scurried off to carry out the order.

5 minutes later the guns of the three battleships broke the morning silence. The Bull Run class battleship was a cutting edge design, armed with 208 VLS tubes along with 6 20 cm Advanced Gun systems in 3 double turrets. They were modeled after the guns on the Zumwalt class cruisers, and are able to destroy targets up to 140 kilometers away.

All of the Battleships, Cruisers, and Destroyers bombarded the coast for the next 2 hours. F-35's and F-36's flying from the carriers bombed known troops positions, and by 11:40 the order had been given to advance to 30 kilometers off the coast and to prepare to land troops. F-36 Thunder fighters flew over the fleet, even though no Grothbordian planes had shown up, likely because Grothbord was already bogged down in a 2 front war. At 13:00 UTC the first wave of 10,000 troops landed on two beaches, one north of La Rochelle and on south of La Rochelle. They met limited Grothbord resistance, as it was predicted that the bulk of the Grothbordian defense was farther inland. By 2300 UTC all 30,000 troops had landed, half of them had landed about 20 km north of La Rochelle, and the other half had landed about 22 km south of the town.

Grothbord was now fighting a three front war.

Shanghai, the Federal Eastern Union

From the heart of Shanghai, Tokugawa Akuzai and Oslo moved to the north via the highway system. They were on the same car - a heavily armored and modified Lexus. On the Lexus, they moved through downtown Shanghai and headed east along the Yangtze River.

"I still remember the destroyed city of Shanghai..." King Oslo said, looking at the skyline of Shanghai, which was fading away to the east. "The Union has surely moved on from the ruins."

"Absolutely," Imperator Akuzai said. "The Union isn't just a bunch of people, as you imagine. From the ruins of the war, we had enough manpower - with the fuel of liberty, all the people of the Union stopped at nothing to rebuild their homes. In fact, Shanghai had changed significantly from the war: it had modeled itself after Incheon, the city in Korea. And now, we step onto New Shanghai."

Minutes later, the car stepped onto a massive coastal city - New Shanghai: a massive new city by the sea, based on the Songdo International City of Incheon. It was the new capital of the Federal Eastern Union - the heart of a massive city. The car moved through the chessboard-esque streets, until it stopped before an Imperial Red-Gold structure that resembled the Forbidden Castle - the Red Palace.

Under heavy escort, Imperator Akuzai and King Oslo advanced into the Red Palace. In the palace, Imperator Akuzai and King Oslo began the historic summit:

"King Oslo," Imperator Akuzai began. "I believe that you have heard of the recent attacks on our Vanguard Fleet in the Bay of Biscay. This attack had killed thousands of Union soldiers, and left only one ship surviving. At first, I had suspected the G.N.F., but seeing that we were now allies, I believed otherwise. However, one thing is clear: whoever attacked the Union, it is now impossible for the Federal Eastern Union to keep neutrality."

Cadiz, Morocco, Maghreb, Valen

With various Union ships still docked in Valen ports, Valen had a decision to make. Do they allow them to stay in the port or do they remove them. Tore stood by the docks with his son, Krister, now 12 years old and watched the Union ships leaving and entering the docks. His troops surrounded him as a small battalion, nothing of threat, but still a show of strength, of his ceremonial officers, clad in brightly colored dress uniforms, approached the docks. The dress uniforms were to show that this was not a threat of military action, but nothing more than business. The head of the battalion spoke first, his voice patched into the speaker systems of all Union ships currently docked and radio broadcasted to the rest.

"Attention Union ships." the commander said, "According to the Valen Declaration of Permanent Neutrality of 2014, ships engaged in a war must hand over all weaponry to port authorities and submit to port inspection. Valen no longer recognizes the East as being neutral in the conflict with Grothbord and as such must enforce these rules. Since you are an ally, you have one week to finish your repairs and leave for Albania or the East. During this time, you will be allowed to act as though you were not at war, but no military personel may leave the docks. You have one week. At noon you will be either stripped or removed from the dock." he said as his officers stayed guarding the perimeter of the docks.

An identical display was done at all other ports in Valen that housed Union ships.

Cadiz, Morocco, the Valen Empire

Following the announcement from the Valenian military and the unconfirmed ASBM attack on the vanguard fleet, the Union's Fifth Fleet in the Valen Empire started movement. Missiles and ammo were loaded onto the ships, in the position for combat and reloading. Several marine troops and naval soldiers prepared for combat - getting their rifles ready, dressing in battle configuration and so on. However, the real action seemed to take place in Cadiz, Morocco.

"And we have six days remaining," Shen Akulov, a known strategist and son of Vladimir Akulov, said, looking along the peaceful coasts of Morocco. "Then we are off to the East."

"Yes, Mr. Akulov," Admiral Saladin Park said. "The Valenian forces now no longer recognize us as 'neutral' - they consider us at war."

"Admiral, you do realize that without Valenian support, we may not be able to win this war, right?" Shen Akulov said. "Without them providing the close harbors, then we would have significant disadvantages in logistics - this applies on both directions: either against the G.N.F. or Grothbord."

"Then what do you suggest, Mr. Akulov - overthrow Tore Valen?" Admiral Park asked.

"No - not yet," Shen Akulov continued. "As a strategist, I consider that a very significant tactic - changing the Valenian government and taking them into the war. However, that can just turn the Valen Empire against us altogether. Therefore, we must find other ways - namely negotiation. I shall formally visit Tore Valen myself for the negotiation."

Admiral Park was about to say something, but Shen stopped him with his intense blue eyes - just like that of his 56-year-old father. Then, he sighed and said, "Okay, Mr. Akulov. I will send you a guardian force with you."

A few minutes later, Shen Akulov was on the way to Lisbon - towards Tore Valen himself. Alongside him followed two battalions of the Union Marines - wheeled IFV's, attack helicopters and even drones for reconnaissance. Shen Akulov, for negotiation, was advancing towards Tore Valen.

Lisbon Imperial Hospital, Lisbon, Lisboa, Iberia, Valen
13:29 Septembet 2nd 2018

Tore held the child to him. He had told no one of the truth, but one of his most loyal palace servants, Malala Al-Brachrin, had been pregnant with his child. The child was not hers though. Tore had secretly done a procedure to make the child share Tore and Kaito's genetics as their biological offspring. She was merely a surrogate, but Tore was greatfull none the less.
Tore kissed the bouncing baby girl on the forehead and smiled. "The Princess of my empire...Amanae Shione Valencia Valen." He said as he and Kaito held the child, Malala asleep after her labor.
Tore was interrupted from the birth of his child as one of his secretaries burst in. "Sir! A large Eastern force is coming to Lisbon. They're not large enough for any sort of invasion, but they mean business. They wish to speak about your closing off the harbors to Eastern navies."
Tore have the child gently to Kaito. "Take care of her. I'll take care of the Empire." He said with a smug smile and a kiss on his lips before rushing to his palace on foot.
Lisbon, along with most of the major cities, had undergone major renovations, following the banning of cars in the inner cities, to make everything walkable and make public transit more accessible. But since the roads were torn up for more buildings or more green space, even the Prince had to walk in the city.
He arrived back at his palace an hour before the Easterners arrived and had te servants prepare for the guests, telling the guards to make the Easter soldiers wait outside the city borders and not to allow them to enter. He would have no guns within his slowly-coming-to-be utopian city. He wanted to grow Lisbon into a utopia and allowing troops, his or otherwise, in messed with his vision. The troops would all remain outside the city unless needed.

"What are you doing about the Valen Empire? The War with Grothbord won't last long, at least in the North, West, and East, but you can't resupply in the South if the Valen people cut you off. An attack in the South would be suicide," Oslo said, after they went into a conference room and pulled maps out all over the table. It was just the Imperator and the King, as their guards were outside and no other people would want to interrupt the most powerful men in the modern world.

"That's true. If my men can't get food or ammo we won't be much in the fight, let alone using any of our ship based weaponry. We could cause some damage to them, but in the long run we'd bleed more," The Imperator said, then continued, "I'm assuming since you brought this up, you have an advisement for us?"

"I do. Door 1: take the Valen ports, integrate them as your own, and fight a two front war with my help. I've been itching to pop Tore Valen a good one and would love the opportunity, but that will leave me spread thin in the North, which isn't advisable but still an option. Door 2: move your fleets North and hit them where I'm not focused, on the Bulgarian-Normandy Area. You can resupply from the Isles as you need, but your government would have to formally sign an Alliance to us. Door 3: if you aren't willing to go to the Isles, you can talk to the Russians and you can outfit out of Crimea, hitting Grothbord in the East.

"Whichever one you pick, I'll support. We're on the same side now, as my planes can't hit the Atlantic or the Mediterranean without leaving my main forces in Grothbord unprotected and I also risk getting hit midway to the area by Grothbordian planes, and those sons-of-bitches are pretty good in Dogfights. I have no reason to attack you anyway, as My hands are already full with Grothbord," Oslo said, waiting for the Imperator's reply.

September 2nd, 2018 (UTC)
New Shanghai, the Federal Eastern Union

"Oslo, the Union has made clear that it will destroy the aggressor this midnight at all costs - however, the problem is, we do not know who attacked us exactly, though it may be clarified." Imperator Akuzai said. It may be the G.N.F. - however, intelligence proves otherwise: the G.N.F. does not have ASBM's in their arsenal. Then that leaves us only one option - Grothbord."

"Precisely," King Oslo said. "Accident or intentional, Grothbord shall be destroyed."

"For the last two doors... they are possible, given that the Russians are our allies as well. However, attacking them in the east would not have as much effect as attacking in the south - the latter literally flanks the nation. As for Valen, invading them will not exactly be an option - after all, they are our allies, under the United Alliance. However, invading them doesn't mean that the Union could use another option - how we will convince Tore Valen at our side."

"And what is this plan?" King Oslo asked.

"Remember the Battle of 1532," Imperator Akuzai said. "We're operating a variant of that operation."

1400 September 2nd, 2018 (UTC)
Lisbon, the Valen Empire

While the Union troops stood at the edge of the city, Shen Akulov received the message - only he had to come into Lisbon to face Tore Valen. It was certain that if he went in alone, he would most definitely be killed - like Atahualpa had faced death against Pizarro. To achieve survival, he had to take his troops alongside him.

"The die has been cast," Shen said. "IFV commanders, hold at the borders, but make sure you are ready for a possible advance into the city at any time. Attack helicopters... provide air cover upon the city - secure the area. And marines... we're advancing forward."

And with Shen Akulov's command, the advance began: attack helicopters moving north towards Lisbon, marines advancing forward with Shen Akulov. Through the new walking roads, the Marines quickly made it into Tore Valen's location, where Shen Akulov faced Tore Valen himself.

"Secure vicinity area," Shen Akulov said. "The rest, down from the Battalion leader, come along me - we have some negotiations to do."

Berlin, Grothbord
0007 September 3rd 2018

General Ruedenheimer, General Gritz, Admiral Ushkov and Air Marshall Wuttingburg gathered at a secrect bunker to plant the invasion of The G.N.F. General Gritz was able to gather 2 Million Recruits, they have been trained with the latest gear, tactics and everything.
Air Marshall Wuttingburg had been doing air recognizance over The GNF, Bretagne and the URS for the past 2 weeks and while they speak there is planes flying above the areas.
General Ruedenheimer was in charge of troop placement and the new map of Grothbord. So he had brought a map of the lands he planned to conquer in the next 5 months

//Neon Green is planned areas//

Admiral Ushkov gathered the entire Grothbord navy in the Baltic Sea and in the English Channel, but with some patrolling the Mediterranean and Atlantic.
They were all discussing the invasion when Klaus walked in.

"How are the plans gentlemen?" He asked

"Good sir, your orders were carried out. 2 Million will invade GNF in Scandinavia and 1.2 Million will invade it in England. With the URS 1.7 Million will retake lands and invade the URS. The rest will stay behind and if needed they will be sent out. But sir, the only problem is Topsail Empire." Finished General Gritz

"Topsail Empire will be a problem. See if you can get any South American country or terrorist group on our side, you handle South America I will deal with the terrorist and Topsail Empire. But if Abrams does not join us, then you can tell them to invade, try to start revolutions in Mexico, try anything generals." Said Klaus

"Yes sir." The Officers said.

Klaus walked out and Ruedenheimer picked up the phone and gave to word for the Invasion.

GNF Border
0009 September 3rd 2018

2 minutes after Ruedenheimer's call, the invasion began. Artillery began firing from Denmark to the outskirts of the GNF so did bombers begin their bombing runs. //neon green areas// with the shelling & bombing lasting 3 hours, the navy safely pulled up near the shore and began firing, with the naval support, Infantry naval transports rushed to the shores of Goteburg, Boras, Malmo and Heisingborn.
The Scandinavian Defenses were clearly outnumbered, but put up a bloody battle for the shores, with Eurofighters diving in and bombing and attacking Tanks, IFVS and troops. After the Infrantry landed Leopards II's began landing and other various ground vehicles. The battle lasted multiple hours //Dot's choice// but finally the troops gained the shores, //Will edit if unfair.//

The same thing basically happened at England //I'll let Dot describe that.//
//The Invasion of the URS happens later//

Lisbon, Lisboa, Iberia, The Valen Empire

Tore stood in his palace. He had seen and heard the East's response to his demands that the troops stay outside...They wouldn't be. Tore had expected this to go smoothly. The East and Valen were allies...Were they not? Tore began to doubt himself. This all seemed to strange for him. Pawns were not falling into place as they should. To him, physics were operating incorrectly.

The East had been too quick to join the GNF. They had been too kind to their ancient enemy. They had been to aggressive and neglectful towards their reliant ally. Valen depended on The East for its security and to defend its neutrality, but they had trampled over Valen's sovereignty in the same way that the GNF had in dealing with La Revolucion. They had entered and used Valen ports as if they were their own. Tore considered calling in reinforcements from Iberia. He was scared. Everything was wrong. He didn't know what else to do as he stood in his throne room, Amanae crying in the throne next to his as Kaito sat in it, rocking the child to sleep slowly. Tore walked up to Kaito, kissing him softly before kissing Amanae. The child was asleep shortly afterwards. He kissed Kaito again as his husband asked "What will you do now? Troops in Lisbon...even if they're Eastern troops...Something is wrong."

Tore nodded and pat his husband's head. "I will survive. We will survive. Valen will survive. There is little we can do sadly...Any military build up will only scare the East into attacking if they really intend to do so. You two go to your room. I will have to talk my way out of this as I have done before. I united Iberia and West Africa though what I and my family are masters of. I bought and persuaded my way to power. I intend to stay here." he said as he helped his husband up, smiling and closing the door behind them just as he got word of Eastern troops entering Lisbon city limits.

Lisbon, The Valen Empire

Shen Akulov was standing upon the gates of Tore Valen's palace with over two hundred marines when Tore Valen came out. Even to Shen's eyes, Tore Valen was a leader: with blond hair and determined blue eyes, he seemed to have built the Valen Empire up from nothing with his own hands. However, that day, Tore Valen seemed to be nervous - though he tried to mask his nervousness, Shen could clearly see his nervousness through his eyes' determination.

"Tore Valen, Prince of the Valen Empire," Tore Valen introduced himself.

"Shen Akulov, Strategist of the Federal Eastern Union," Shen shook hands with Tore, then entered the palace with a quarter of the marines. In the palace, they sat on two leather couches and started the negotiations.

"As you see, Tore," Shen Akulov began. "Yesterday, a Vanguard Fleet of the Federal Eastern Union was attacked by some unconfirmed forces - those with an ASBM and over three hundred anti-ship missiles. However, if we consider the data more clearly, it is explicit that Berlin was behind this attack: the attacks were from the northeast, meaning that the Valenians did not attack us. Also, King Oslo of the G.N.F. himself has decreed that it had not been the G.N.F. before our own Imperator, eliminating the Federation from the list. With these all gathered up, it is clear that the attacks originate from Grothbord.

"With these situations, the Union can no longer keep neutrality - we have been attacked, and it's time for us to draw our swords. As a significant and powerful ally, the Federal Eastern Union formally asks the Valen Empire for support - after all, we have defended your nation's waters and territory since your founding, and has supported the Valenian military to what it is now.

"Previously, we stood against the G.N.F. - after all, they were our enemies back in 2014. However, times have changed - the enemy is now Grothbord. With them standing before us, we cannot guarantee the security of the Union and the Valen Empire altogether. Therefore, the Union asks the Valen Empire to support the Union - or at the very least, provide enough harbors and logistics for combat," Shen said, then waited for Tore Valen's reply.
